Ed Dassie

Anat Baniel Method Practitioner

Ed has been a certified Anat Baniel Method (ABM) practitioner since 2011 and extended his training through 2012 with the additional ABM Mastery trainings offered. Ed completed courses on working with children that have special needs, a course for vitality and anti-aging, and a course for high performing individuals. After graduation Ed added to his experience by being a support staff member for the ongoing ABM trainings. Ed was also very privileged to work closely with Anat Baniel directly for 3½ years as he was the Enrollment Manager for the ABM training programs where he continued to be a part of the Anat Baniel Method trainings. He has continued honing his skillset by attending specialized workshops for ABM practitioners on multiple occasions through the last few years. Ed has a thriving practice with his wife and fellow ABM practitioner in 3 states in the USA as well as a location in Canada. His practice has taken him to Mexico, Hawaii, and other states and provinces in the USA and Canada where he’s worked with many children and adults with special needs.

Ed is married with 3 children. A boy and girl twins who are 14 years old and girl who is 11 years old. All 3 children have special needs. 2 of them have a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and epilepsy and 1 is diagnosed with scoliosis, Asperger’s and ADHD. Ed’s sole reason for starting the ABM training was to help his children but quickly became impassioned with the opportunity to practice as an ABM practitioner. He just loves working with children wherever they are and has been able to travel to meet the needs of the children he meets that have special needs. The connection Ed has with parents is special because of having his own set of children with special needs. He understands the journey the parents go through and the desire to find hope in the modalities they search for and implement with their children. He’s also a great singer of silly songs that the kids love!

Ed and his wife strive to get the ABM work to as many children as possible. In their spare time, they run a non-profit organization whose mission is to help children with special needs gain access to the ABM lessons by funding their ABM lessons. Ed also utilizes ABM daily in several movement activities he participates in such as marathon running, being a Jujitsu practitioner, a softball player, and in his overall fitness.
Ed is excited to be a part of the team at the Scandinavian Center and looks forward to offering ABM to families who visit the center.
